Established formally in 2026, but dreamed of long before, Jessica Albaugh, RN, BSN has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Having previously started and successfully run non-healthcare businesses, she knew one day she wanted to combine her passion for nursing with her love of entrepreneurship.

 

With 11 years as a RN and 16 years in health care, Jessica has spent much of her career in skilled nursing caring for some of the most vulnerable patients in their homes. During this time, she was often asked the same question: “Do you know a podiatrist who will come to my home?” While she would help patients search for providers, many found that podiatrists were not accepting new patients, didn't provide home visits or did not travel to their area.

 

After recognizing this growing need, Jessica researched the nursing scope of practice and created Maryland Mobile Foot Care to help homebound individuals and seniors receive the routine foot care they deserve.

 

Jessica understands how essential proper foot care is to overall health. Many seniors suffer from conditions such as diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and other chronic illnesses that can lead to serious complications if feet are not properly cared for. Throughout her nursing career, she has seen how neglected foot health can lead to wounds, infections, sepsis, amputations, and sadly even death.

 

Her mission is simple: to make safe, medical routine nursing based foot care accessible to seniors and homebound individuals in the comfort of their own home.
